"Edexcel B at AS is more demanding than people think. My tutor knew it inside out. Ended up top of my year group which was genuinely not something I expected."
"Cambridge International is its own thing — the structure, the command words, all of it. Finding a tutor who actually knew it was a relief. A* in every paper."
"OCR Business has so much content and I was drowning in it. The sessions helped me prioritise and actually understand rather than just memorise. Ended up with an A."

"WJEC has a very different feel to the other specs and most tutors don't know it well at all. Found someone who did. A across all assessments — really pleased."
"Cambridge International Business is not the same as A-Level and my previous tutor didn't realise that. Switched and immediately felt the difference. A* and a strong UCAS application."
"The Cambridge Accounting mark schemes are brutally precise. My tutor broke down exactly what each question expected and my marks jumped. A* and now studying Accounting at university."
"Patient, thorough, and genuinely encouraging without being over the top about it. Left every session feeling like I'd actually learned something. A* in the end."
"Every session had a clear purpose and we stuck to it. No padding, no repetition. A* achieved and a place at university to study Finance — exactly what I was working towards."
"OCR Business felt genuinely unmanageable at the start. Each session was tailored to wherever I was struggling. Went from a 4 to an 8 — couldn't recommend this enough."
"My tutor knew the AQA mark scheme better than my actual teacher. Understood exactly what the examiners reward and what they don't. 5 to 9 — speaks for itself."
"Covered the whole Edexcel spec in a way that actually stuck. Not just going through slides — proper understanding. Grade went from a 5 to an 8 and I felt genuinely prepared."
"Was barely scraping a pass before I started. The sessions made everything click in a way school just hadn't. Grade 8 — and I finally actually understand the subject."
"Wish I'd started this sooner. Everything I'd been confused about for two years got sorted out in five sessions. Grade 9 — nobody saw that coming, least of all me."
"Algebra and stats were killing my AQA score. We went through each weak area methodically and I stopped making the same mistakes. Grade 8 — my school was genuinely shocked."
"Failed the mock twice and was convinced I'd fail the real thing. My tutor pinpointed every pattern in my mistakes and we fixed them one by one. Grade 7. My parents cried."
"Maths made me genuinely anxious. The sessions were calm and at my pace — never felt rushed or embarrassed. Grade 8. I'm actually proud of that, which I didn't expect to say."
"Patient, clear, and really good at explaining things in a way that actually lands. Mock grade 4, final grade 8. The jump felt impossible back in January."
"I'd been writing AQA Economics answers completely wrong — too vague, no structure. Once I understood what the question was actually asking, the marks followed. Grade 8."
"Predicted a 5, got a 9. Every session built on the last and I never left without feeling like I'd made real progress. The OCR spec held no surprises by the time I sat the exam."
"Was aiming for a 6. My tutor pushed me harder than I pushed myself and that made all the difference. Grade 8 in the end — wouldn't have got there on my own."
"BTEC lives or dies on how you structure assignments. I had no idea what distinction criteria really meant until it was broken down for me properly. Ended up with D*D*D*."
"Before I started I was hitting merits and wondering what I was doing wrong. My tutor showed me exactly what distinction-level writing looks like. D*D*D* — absolutely over the moon."
"HNC is a genuine step change from Level 3. The analytical depth expected is different and I needed someone to show me what that looked like in practice. Distinction — worth every session."
"The jump from BTEC Level 3 to HNC was bigger than I anticipated. Academic writing at this level is a different skill. Got the support I needed and passed with distinction."
"The Access Diploma moves fast and I kept second-guessing whether my work was at distinction level. Having someone in my corner who understood the criteria made all the difference. Full distinctions."
"Coming back to study in my 30s was daunting. Never felt judged or rushed — just properly supported at my pace. Passed the Access Diploma with distinctions and got my university place."
"Didn't really understand what analytical writing meant until it was shown to me with my own assignments. Once I got it, my grades improved consistently across every unit."
"Second and third year were a proper shock after first year. Financial accounting, management theory — none of it was landing. The sessions sorted it out. First class degree."
"58% average in first year, consistently 72%+ in second. What changed was understanding what analytical writing actually means at degree level — not just describing, but arguing."
"Econometrics, financial theory — second year was a different world to first. Finally had someone who could actually explain it rather than just repeat the slides. First class."
"Was genuinely at risk of failing the year. Targeted support on exactly the modules I was struggling with. Turned it around and got a 2:1 — honestly didn't think that was on the cards."
"Management accounting and strategy in third year are no joke. Having someone who knew both subjects deeply made the content actually click. First class — absolutely thrilled."
"The depth of subject knowledge in every session was impressive. Never felt like I was being taught from a textbook — it was real understanding. First class degree."
"IFRS and financial statement analysis — I could apply them mechanically but didn't really understand the principles. The sessions fixed that. Distinction overall."

"Was falling behind and panicking about it. The support on management accounting brought everything back into focus at exactly the right time. Graduated with a distinction."
"Monetary policy dissertation. I knew the theory but not how to apply it rigorously at master's level. That changed. My supervisor said it was one of the best in the cohort."
"Game theory and macro policy were the modules pulling my dissertation down. A few targeted sessions and the whole argument came together properly. Merit became a distinction."
"LSE Economics offer. My first draft was technically fine but it had no real voice or argument. By the final version every single line earned its place. Really exceptional coaching."
"First choice at King's for Economics. The coaching helped me make the statement genuinely mine — not generic, not trying to sound impressive, just honest and well-argued."
"UCL Economics. Went through five full drafts and every single one got better. The feedback was specific and honest — not just encouraging but actually useful."
"Got into UCL. The hardest part was writing something that sounded confident without being arrogant. The coaching got me there. Wouldn't have managed it alone."
"Queen Mary for Economics. My original draft was all over the place — trying to say everything and saying nothing. The final version was tight, focused, and actually got me an offer."
"Imperial College London for Finance. I struggled to write about something I actually cared about without it sounding clichéd. The coaching helped me find the right way in."
"Applied alone last year, rejected everywhere. This time I got proper support on the statement. Three Russell Group offers — Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds. Night and day difference."
"Competitive course, so the statement had to work hard. Got the balance right between academic depth and personal authenticity. Offer from King's — really pleased."
"Exeter and Leeds both. I'd done work experience and read a lot but couldn't connect it into a coherent narrative. The coaching made everything hang together properly."
"University of Edinburgh for Economics. Every sentence in the final version had a reason to be there. That kind of precision is hard to achieve alone — the coaching was worth it."
"Every session was worth the time — no fluff, just exactly what I needed. Economics finally started making sense and my confidence going into the exam was completely different to where I started."
